Don’t Be Nervous!

Most people are nervous about joining a therapy group, but when they get involved, they come to feel deeply connected to the other group members.

The Group Conductor Keeps The Group Safe.

Sarah Hanchet is an IGA-qualified Group Therapist and Reflective Practice Conductor and a UKCP registered psychotherapist. She has conducted therapy groups in the NHS and privately.

Group Work For Life Transitions

We are all journeying

Life involves lots of transitions and rites of passage. Erik Erikson famously identified 8 stages of psychosocial development, and described the impact on our wellbeing and behaviours of missing stages.

In this small therapy group we explore our family and life experiences; and we help each other to get unstuck where a stage hasn’t been healthily navigated. The outcome is clearer sense of self and resilience.

The group is called: Rites of Passage - Navigating Life Stages.

Group Work For Infertility

Infertility Changes Us

Every woman who has struggled with infertility and related treatments reaches her personal tipping point. This is the point at which we need to take stock, and it is often a time of great sadness which has to be mourned.

Sarah conducts a small therapy group called Infertility: See You On The Other Side. The group holds women to make sense of their journey, and with support to re-find themselves as creative women with renewed purpose.
